What is a three-piece ball valve?

For example, when the valve body is blocked, we only need to untie the bolts of the ball valve, take out the actuator and the center body, and then clean and maintain it. After cleaning, we can put the center body and the end cap together with bolts. We do not need to disassemble the entire valve from the pipeline, which greatly reduces our maintenance costs.

What is a two-piece ball valve?
The two-piece ball valve is composed of two parts, which are assembled by bolts. They can be threaded connections, flanged connections or welded connections to meet different pipeline requirements.
The two-piece ball valve is tight and reliable. It has a good sealing performance, which reduces the possibility of leakage. If the valve is blocked, the entire valve needs to be removed from the pipeline for cleaning. This might make the repair cost increase. Suitable for flow rate control of water, steam, air, and so on.
In fact, there is little difference between the two-piece ball valve and the three-piece ball valve, both of which are used for start, on-off, and flow adjustment. But compared with the two designs, the three-piece ball valve is more able to withstand high-pressure applications and is more convenient for maintenance.
